About the service
What exactly is a medical second opinion?
An independent review of your diagnosis and treatment plan by a specialist who isn’t your primary treating doctor. It can confirm you’re on the right path, suggest modifications, identify a missed diagnosis, or open up options you didn’t know existed.
Is getting a second opinion disloyal to my doctor?
Not at all. It’s a widely respected practice. Most good doctors actively encourage it, especially for serious or surgical conditions. Your health must come first.
What kinds of conditions do you cover?
Virtually all medical and surgical specialties — from common conditions like diabetes and hypertension to complex cancers, rare neurological disorders, cardiac conditions and multi-system illnesses. If you’re unsure, contact us.
Privacy & security
Are my medical records safe with you?
Yes. We use end-to-end encryption for transmission and storage. Records are accessible only to the assigned specialist and are deleted from active servers after your case is complete (per your consent).
Will my details be shared with hospitals or doctors for referral commissions?
Never. We operate on a strict no-referral-commission policy. Every recommendation is based purely on clinical merit and fit.
The process
What documents should I upload?
Recent and historical lab reports, all imaging (with radiology reports), biopsy/pathology reports, discharge summaries, operative notes, current medications, and any letters between specialists. Share what you have — we’ll work with it.
How long does it take?
Standard turnaround is 48–72 hours from the time your case is accepted with complete records. Expedited (24h) review is available.
Can I speak to the specialist who reviewed my case?
Yes — book an optional live video consultation as an add-on. Highly recommended for complex cases.
Cost & value
How much does a second opinion cost?
Pricing depends on case complexity and specialty involved. We offer transparent, tiered pricing with no hidden fees. Subsidised reports are available for patients in financial hardship — contact us.
Is this covered by insurance?
Coverage varies by insurer and policy. We provide all required documentation (reports, invoices) to support claims where applicable.
